Tazz - Adventures Of Tazz Remixes

After sleeping on the Adventures Of Tazz album itself somewhat (see below), it seems only fair to make sure this remix EP gets a decent crack of the reviews whip!

Giovanni's Keys – in its original form a deep, chunky and melodic techno cut vaguely reminiscent of Octave One – gets a refix here from Matthew Styles, who tones down both the fat techno bassline and the acid-y tops of the album version for a somewhat smoother ride. 6th Borough Project then get their hands on Worked It (credited to Tazz & Bacanito), again toning down the acid and ditching the staccato Detroitian strings, but adding vocal snips and dreamy, space disco-y synth washes to give the track more of an afterhours deep house feel.

High quality bizniss indeed.

Out: This week

About: Adventures Of Tazz is the first full-length artist album from Tsuba Records, a move I remember label boss Kevin Griffiths promising us was on the cards when I interviewed him for iDJ, ooh, about a year and a half ago now! You can find Tsuba at their website, on Facebook and on Soundcloud.

At the latter, BTW, you can HEAR THIS and also download a number of podcasts such as this one from the aforesaid Mr Styles…
