On the A, 1975 features speech samples saying "with a song" and "1975" that sit atop a darkly groovy backing fusing tech-house with disco-style synth stabs. But cool as 1975 undoubtedly is, the real treat here is California on the B, which takes us into the deepest of dub-house territory. A proper dubwise skanker with sampled dialogue from NASA's Mission Control (specifically from a Columbia mission so let's hope it's not the one where it blew up, eh?), this will be a treat for your afterhours floor.
I know I haven't waxed particularly lyrical but this is a killer, trust.
