The latest from Wesley Burden and co's Sideways Recordings stable here.
In its original form, Slide To Unlock – credited to Fraser Owen & Bradley P – is a fairly mellow, unhurried kinda deep house groove from the dreamy side of the street, completed halfway through by the arrival of some looping female vocal snips. It's probably best suited to warm-up or afterhours play, but in these lower-tempo times who knows? Omid 16B then supplies a rub that takes us into minimal/deep techno pastures, while bringing the EP to a close is Elixir, which is credited to Fraser Owen & Ben Macklin and which is a slightly more driving deep houser with a slightly proggy kinda feel.
It's the Original of Slide To Unlock that I'm loving the most but this is a strong package all round, and well worth investigating.
