Sub Rosa itself is a midtempo groover with barely-there female vocal snippets and some contemplative-sounding piano chords, Scuffle has a sparse, stripped-down and slightly more techy feel with some lovely big echo-y bass sounds and more chopped-up, treated vocal snips, and Knowing continues in a similar vein, but in a slightly mellower, more sofa-oriented kinda way.
There's nothing particularly groundbreaking going on, admittedly, but still – this is the deepest of UK deep house done not just well, but exceptionally well. Just gorgeous.
